Roger Zamarripa was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, growing up alongside his parents in ministry. From an early age, church wasn’t just a place he attended—it was a part of who he was. He doesn’t know life without Jesus and has always had a heart for serving His Church. His journey led him to College Station, where he first attended Texas A&M University before transferring to Nelson University, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Church Leadership.
As the Creative Director, Roger is passionate about using creativity to communicate the Gospel in fresh and engaging ways. He oversees all aspects of the church’s creative vision—from the visuals on screen during services to the digital presence that reaches the community. His goal is to help set the atmosphere where people can encounter Jesus, whether it’s through intentional design, engaging social media, or powerful moments in worship. He believes creativity is more than just aesthetics—it’s a tool to remove distractions and create space for people to meet with God.
Beyond the creative side of ministry, Roger loves the relationships he’s built through serving. Whether it’s collaborating with the team, capturing moments that tell a story, or seeing how God moves through something as simple as a post on social media, he finds joy in knowing his work helps people feel seen, valued, and invited into God’s presence.
Outside of ministry, Roger enjoys running, photography, and exploring his passion for art. He’s always up for a good conversation over coffee, a road trip with friends, or discovering new places to eat.
“I’m excited to continue being obedient to the Lord and to serve the church wholeheartedly. I love Caldwell Assembly and am honored to be part of what God is doing here. Always thanks and Gig ’em!”
